Steve Borders and his wife Karen have taken the lead in reaching the hispanic community of Vacaville. Steve & Karen were missionaries in Peru and have been planting Hispanic churches in California for many years. Esperanza Baptist Church meets each Sunday at 9:30 AM at Orchard. Pastor Mark is our associate pastor. He accepted God’s call to preach at the age of 14. He had pastored two churches when the Lord led him to minister in a different way – he became a Paramedic. After 30 years as a Medic, Mark has come back to full time Christian ministry here at OABC. Pastor Doan is the lead pastor here at Orchard. He has a unique way of explaining God’s word in a useful, understandable, and often times, a humorous way.
